PADI Enriched Air (Nitrox) - Sun 20 Apr
Increase your bottom time and reduce surface intervals
What you need to know
Enriched air, also known as nitrox or EANx, contains less nitrogen than regular air. Breathing less nitrogen means you can enjoy longer dives and shorter surface intervals. No wonder Enriched Air Diver is the most popular PADI® specialty. Join us on the morning of Sunday 20th April from 10.00am to 12.30pm to learn how to safely use nitrox for diving. In the theory we'll cover: - Why diving with air that has higher oxygen and lower nitrogen content gives you more bottom time, along with enriched air equipment considerations. - Understanding how oxygen affects your diving - How to manage oxygen exposure - How to use enriched air to increase your safety margin - How to plan dives with enriched air Followed by a practical session where you'll learn how to analyze the oxygen content in your scuba tank and how to set your dive computer for diving with enriched air nitrox. The course does not require any dives, making it one of the few PADI courses that can be completed without getting into the water! Join the tribe and gain a new skill. Book now. Price is subject to 5% VAT at checkout.
